Spectacular Spider-Man is a reboot of the Spider-Man franchise. It stars Logan Lerman as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Billy Crudup as Maxwell Dillon/Electro, and Selena Gomez as Mary Jane Watson.
Plot[]
A teenage boy named Peter Parker (Logan Lerman) is bitten by a radioactive spider, and uses the powers from the spider bite to avenge the death of his Uncle Ben (William Shatner), which he feels responsible for. He becomes the spectacular Spider-Man. Meanwhile, two villains, a man transformed in a lab accident (Billy Crudup) and a deadly mob boss (Malin Akerman), emerge from the shadows and wreak havoc on Manhattan.
